PRINCIPLES OF HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY

Prerequisites: General Biology and General Chemistry. Lower level anatomy and physiology will be helpful but are not required.

Course Description: This course will introduce basic and advanced principles of human physiology. The study of physiology will be presented from an integrated systems approach. Lectures and discussions of various topics in human physiology ranging from cellular physiology to sensory physiology will be presented. Where appropriate abnormal physiological conditions associated with disease states will be presented.
